10:00 - 11am Owls: with Jackson and Blair (on nature center
deck) and photo shoot
11:30am-noon Fly and feed a hawk (Michael &
Lindsey)
12-12:30pm Lunch break all: please bring your own food &

BIRDING BY EAR at The Agape Center for Environmental Education
BIRDING BY EAR at The Agape Center for Environmental Education- Rural
Duncan (near Fuquay-Varina)
Join Mike Campbell, NC Wildlife Resources Commission Education Specialist
for this 4-hour workshop.
This workshop will offer information to learn the songs and calls of
resident and neo-tropical migratory songbirds, and match these vocalizations
with field marks to identify these birds. Useful tips, tricks and mnemonics
will be provided to help with identification. Weather permitting, this
entire workshop will be held outdoors and will cover several habitats, which
will include some hilly terrain.
This workshop will qualify for public school CEU credit, as well as NC OEE
Certification.
Bring your own lunch to enjoy. Picnic space is available.
Reservations required; space limited to 24 participants.
